QROPS & Self Invest
In our experience we have found that all clients have varying degrees of knowledge in the investment world, and therefore require different Qrops structures to match their needs. For clients who feel comfortable with managing the investment strategy themselves, we can advise on a number of Platform based QROPS structures which enable the client to have complete control.
An investment Platform is a vehicle that gives the investor instant access to hundreds of pre-approved mutual funds, usually available at discounted rates. This enables the client to devise, implement and manage their own investment portfolio within the Qrops Structure.
Platform Vehicles – Advisor Managed
If you like the sound of the Platform structure but don’t feel comfortable with having the responsibility of managing the investments yourself. There are Qrops providers who use a Platform as the underlying vehicle, but provide access to investment advisors who will manage the portfolio with you. Typically this will cost around 1% per annum as an additional charge, however many clients prefer this as the advisor is incentivised to ensure your capital grows.
